USD Native Instancing – a great concept and fun implementation. One of my first few tasks to work on since I joined the USD Core team. I find the concept of native instancing vital to any animation pipeline, making artists’ and TDS’ work much easier. It’s also great to know how well it’s supported by Hydra and the entire pipeline around it.
