BLENDER CLOUD

PRODUCER FRANCESCO SIDDI EXPLAINS HOW YOU CAN WITNESS THE ENDLESS CREATIVITY OF BLENDER STUDIO

- cloud.blender.org.

At the time of writing, Sprite Fright is a completely independently funded production. This is possible thanks to Blender Cloud, Blender Studio’s online platform. Think of it as a behind-thescenes, making-of, full-access pass that allows members to log in, follow, discover and interact with the filmmakers. Blender Cloud has allowed the studio to produce content since 2014. This not only includes the film, the production assets, the designs and concept art, but also dozens of hours of high-end production training with Blender. We push both Blender and our own artistic process and share both. Not only is this highly appreciated by the vast Blender community, but also by anyone who loves animation and wants to see how an animated short is made.

Films don’t magically come into existence out of thin air or sprout from the brilliant mind of the director. There is a lot of work and iteration involved. The collaboration between all the diverse talents required to make it happen is the real magic. Follow that magic on
