Back in 2009 Corona Renderer started as a student project at the Czech Technical University in Prague and soon gained a lot of popularity in the field of architectural renderings. It became part of Chaos Group (the company behind V-ray) in 2017. It’s well implemented and easy to use with Cinema 4D, and due to its famous tone mapper, it can give very nice results for interior visualisation. Corona Renderer is CPU based but renders surprisingly fast. It does have a node-based material editor, but this is arguably a bit basic

compared to Octane, Arnold and Redshift.

Common post-processing tweaks can be performed inside the render view (VFB). Besides tone mapping and colour adjustments you can add effects like bloom, glare, sharpening and denoising.
