IN CONTROL

In a first for off-roading, the X-class has vented disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Combine that with double wishbone front suspension and variable rate rear coil suspension and you’ve got total control and agility with a high level of comfort - perfect for the bitumen or the bush.

KEEP MOVING

When the locking rear differential is on, the wheels turn at the same speed, keeping the X-class moving without slipping in difficult terrain. Plus, with Downhill Speed Regulation on the 4MATIC variants, you can regulate your speed downhill at the touch of a button.

A STABLE RELATIONSHIP

The X-class has wide front and rear tracks, which allows for better stability and handling, no matter where you’re driving. It also ensures rolling and pitching movements are reduced, and it will counter any understeering tendencies, even with high lateral acceleration. Cornering ability is taken care of with direct, precise steering.

EXPLORE MORE

With a ramp breakover angle of 22 degrees, generous 222mm ground clearance, and a whopping 600mm wading depth, the X-class can get wherever you need it to.
