2022 FORD RANGER PRICING RELEASED

-

FORD Australia has revealed pricing for the all-new Ranger line-up, which starts at $35,930 before on-roads costs (BORC) – a $1040 jump over the outgoing model.

That price will get you the Ranger XL 4x2 Single Cab with the 125kw-405nm 2.0L turbo-diesel and six-speed auto powertrain (2.0L SIT 6AT). For a 4x4 Ranger on a budget, the cheapest is the XL 4x4 Single Cab-chassis powered by the 154kw-500nm 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel with 10-speed auto (2.0 BIT 10AT) at $47,030 (BORC) – a rise of $1740. 4WD double-cab pickup starts at $49,930 (BORC) for the XL 4x4 Double PU 2.0L SIT 6AT, or $53,430 (BORC) with the highway-friendly bi-turbo.

The XLT double-cab pickup and cab-chassis are available with 2.0 BIT 10AT, and a new 184kw-600nm 3.0L V6 turbo-diesel engine that’s also coupled with the 10-speed auto (3.0L V6 10AT) for an additional $3000.

Ranger XLT 4x4 pricing is unchanged and starts at $51,190 (BORC). The Ranger Sport 4x4 double cab returns with the same powertrains as XLT to bridge the gap between that and Wildtrak, starting at $63,690 (BORC). The Wildtrak also has both powertrains, with its $67,190 starting price jumping by $1100 (BORC). The range-topping Ranger Raptor price has risen some $6000 to $85,490 (BORC), the extra coin bringing a new punchy petrol 292kw- 583Nm 3.0L V6 Twin-turbo Ecoboost engine.
