TOUGH DOG 300 SERIES LANDCRUISER SUSPENSION UPGRADES
After months of R&D, Tough Dog has announced its suspension upgrades to suit the 300 Series Landcruiser. Available for the front end are 50mm lifted coils with two spring-rate options; a no-accessories bullbar; or bullbar and a winch. There is also the choice of 40mm foam cell long-travel front struts (fitted with rubber spring seat insulator) or 40mm 9-stage externally adjustable long-travel foam cell struts (fitted with rubber spring seat insulator). A unique feature of the front struts is a three-wall construction metal over rubber bush, which Tough Dog says will provide higher load bearing due to its reinforced intermediate tube fitted between the inner crush tube and outer metal jacket housing.
At the rear, there are three choices of springs, providing 35mm of lift for 0-300kg, constant 300kg or constant 500kg loads. You can also choose from 40mm foam cell long-travel shocks, or 40mm 9-stage externally adjustable foam cell longtravel shocks. A rear sway bar link-rod alignment bracket is also included, that will restore the operating angle after the lift has been fitted. Optional extras available include a rear adjustable Panhard rod and coil insert air bags for standard height and raised applications. (Note: these images show the pre-production colour scheme).
