When you lift a four-wheel drive with independent front suspension, the factory suspension geometry can be pushed outside of its happy place, namely caster and camber angles. This is why Tough Dog 4WD Suspension has released a range of upper control arms to rectify this issue, with the latest release suiting the VW Amarok. These upper control arms are designed to return a vehicle’s suspension and steering geometry to standard after it has been lifted. They are a fixed length and position design, which prevents wheel alignment being knocked out of specification when four-wheel driving. These upper control arms offer up to +3.5 degrees of positive caster, and are backed by a four-year/unlimited kilometre recreational warranty.
