Carbon Winch claims its 12,000lb Version Two winch is the lightest electric winch on the market to suit 4x4s. The 12,000lb version with synthetic rope comes in at just 19kg, and as a complete package with rope, control box, cabling, required mounting bolts and fairlead, the entire package comes in at just 23.45kg. Carbon Winch Version 2 has been designed in Australia after five years of research and development, and is fully sealed to resist water, dirt and dust to IP86 ingress protection. A battery isolator switch is supplied in the package, and it can be operated via either a wireless remote or remote control with 3.7m of cable.
