DEEP TROUBLE

-

JAMIE was out four-wheeling on a property near Pilliga in NSW when he veered slightly off-track, resulting in a rather severe bogging.

“I just went slightly off the track and down I went, as we had a couple of inches of rain a week or so prior,” Jamie told 4X4 Australia. “After winching for ages, we ran out of trees to winch off, and we had to get the other car with me out from its bog as well.

“I almost burnt my winch out, getting out of this bog,” Jamie added.

Once the secondary vehicle – a Nissan Patrol – was free from its trap, Jamie was able to use that to snatch his 200 Series to freedom … after about six or seven goes, mind you.

Jamie’s 2019 200 Series is equipped with an Old Man Emu two-inch lift with 3.9T GVM upgrade; Safari Armax snorkel; ARB bullbar; Carbon 12,000lb winch; GME UHF; Kaymar rear bar with two spare wheels; dual-battery system; Drifta drawers; and a Rhino platform rack.
