Finally realising his potential as a front-line bowler after his tantalising, teenaged debut in South Africa back in 2011. Famously, Cummins didn’t play his next Test for another five-and-a-half years, as a combination of injuries and bad timing kept him on the sideline. Played 13 consecutive Tests through the South Africa series, bowling more overs than any other Aussie quick with a yield of 59 wickets. Rested for the tour to the UAE, and no-one would blame team management for it.
