Highly touted by the likes of Shane Warne, who he counts as his idol, Kuldeep’s brand of left-arm wrist spin is a rare sight – in fact, he’s the first one to represent India in Tests. Success has come quicker in the 50-over format than with the red ball, and he wasn’t much of a factor in the Tests in England. But he did perform well against an Australia A side that toured India last September.
