Dickwella inherited Sri Lanka’s ’keeping role as Dinesh Chandimal stepped out from behind the stumps, in a similar scenario for the team-mates at Colombo’s Nondescripts club. In the modern fashion, the 25-year-old combines his glove work with kinetic batting, having served as a one-day opener for his country. A maiden Test ton still awaits, but he has nine half-centuries.
