A powerful hitter of the ball, in 15 matches for the Brisbane Heat last summer Mooney scored 482 runs at 43.81, with a strike rate of 115.58. She also completed 12 dismissals behind the stumps. Crowned Australia’s Domestic Player of the Year on Allan Border Medal night in February, this Queenslander wastes little time when she arrives at the crease, with the runs streaming off the bat in no time. But there’s also plenty of fitness in her batting, which will be on display this summer.
