Green Fair back to take over city square

Al­bany’s Town Square will be a hive of green ac­tiv­ity this week­end.

The Green Fair on the Square will re­turn on Satur­day, Novem­ber 3, be­tween 9am and 1pm, for the an­nual cel­e­bra­tion of all things re­cy­cled, up­cy­cled, green and sus­tain­able. In its third year, the pop­u­lar event will in­clude a Fes­ti­val of For­got­ten Skills, as well as live en­ter­tain­ment, green tips and up­cy­cled trea­sures.

The Eco Faeries will per­form their green-themed stage show and join Happy Feet Fit­ness, Jamie the Clown and the RCNC Com­mu­nity Gar­den in the Green Sprouts Kids Cor­ner.

The Ar­ti­san Up­cy­cled Mar­ket­place will also re­turn.

There will be plenty of live en­ter­tain­ment in­clud­ing per­for­mances from the Shantylil­lies, Shan­ty­men, and Myles Mitchell and the Great South­ern Roots.
