Programs help to protect, preserve

Albany Advertiser - - ALBANY AGRICULTURAL SHOW 2018 -

The City of Albany values the beauty of its towns and natural areas, and we take pride in looking after our parks and bush reserves.

The Bush Watch and Park Watch programs aim to raise community awareness of what is permissible on City of Albany managed land, and what activities are not permitted or require a permit.

The programs also encourage people to keep an eye on these areas for any threats, and to report them to the City.

People are encouraged to use the “Report it” function on the City of Albany’s website at www.albany.wa.gov.au.

Unlawful activities can also be reported by contacting the City of Albany’s Reserves team on 6820 3000 (in business hours).

We invite you to come along to the Park Watch and Bush Watch display in the Exhibition Pavilion at the Albany Show and fill out a short quiz to receive a prize. The City’s Reserves team can also answer your questions about our fantastic parks and reserves.

Albany has many wonderful attractions, both natural and man-made, and you can help the City look after them.
