Holistic health unveiled
Albany will host its first Holistic Healthcare Expo this weekend.
Local health practitioners, therapists, educators and advocates will have their skills, knowledge and experience showcased during presentations by guest speakers and at workshop demonstrations.
Stallholders will talk to visitors to the expo about holistic health and complementary health services available in Albany and the Great Southern.
Holistic Healthcare Network chairwoman Jill Lisson said the event was an exciting first for Albany, and the public would greatly benefit from attending to learn more about ways to optimise their health.
“Locals will have the opportunity to learn about gut health, pain management, nutrition and meditation, and so much more,” she said.
“In this unique event, stallholders will include acupuncturists, naturopaths, functional medicine practitioners, massage therapists and occupational therapists, to name a few, giving the public an opportunity to chat with health professionals and practice managers.”
The Holistic Health Expo will be held on Saturday, December 8, at Centennial Park Stadium between 9.30am and 4.30pm. All are welcome to attend. Entry is by a gold coin donation.
HHN executive committee member Judy Hunt will be selling Roogenics teas at the event and has donated product for a raffle.
