Hol­cim Al­bany has been part of the com­mu­nity for al­most five decades, ser­vic­ing the Great South­ern with qual­ity con­crete.

Hol­cim district man­ager Great South­ern Mark Tay­lor said he was proud to be a mem­ber of a great or­gan­i­sa­tion that fo­cused on qual­ity and per­for­mance.

“We will al­ways strive to pro­vide our cus­tomers with the best pos­si­ble ser­vice and pro­vide value-for-money so­lu­tions to meet their needs,” he said.

Hol­cim em­ploys more than 14 peo­ple through­out Al­bany and Mt Barker.

As one of the world’s largest ma­te­ri­als con­struc­tion groups, Hol­cim has been sup­ply­ing con­struc­tion ma­te­ri­als since 1901.

Orig­i­nally serv­ing the in­dus­try un­der the well-known Readymix and Humes brands, Hol­cim con­tin­ues to sup­ply prod­ucts in­clud­ing ag­gre­gate, sand, con­crete and con­crete pipe. Hol­cim op­er­ates across Aus­tralia. The com­pany sup­plies con­crete from a net­work of more than 250 con­crete plants, 900 mixer trucks and mo­bile and on­site fa­cil­i­ties, and 12 con­crete fac­to­ries.

Hol­cim mo­bile and on­site batch­ing op­er­a­tions ser­vice ma­jor projects and re­mote ru­ral com­mu­ni­ties.
