Grateful for honesty
On Saturday, January 5 about 2pm, I left my purse containing cash and cards in a shopping trolley in the carpark at the North Road IGA.
When I got home and realised, I felt sick, not expecting to see my purse again.
I drove back to the shop with my heart in my mouth and was so relieved when the staff told me a gentleman had handed it in. He had not left contact details. I just hope he reads this to know how much his honesty is appreciated. Mary Saunders, Albany Letters to the editor must contain the author’s full name, address and daytime contact number.
