Fans out in force as mighty Eagles beat the Pies
There was face paint, blue and yellow balloons and crowds dressed in their colours out and about for the 2018 AFL Grand Final on Saturday.
West Coast Eagles took on Collingwood at the MCG in Melbourne and footy fans cheered on their teams in pubs across town.
Pubs including Hybla, White Star, Six Degrees and Due South were decked out with blue and yellow, creating the atmosphere for the final, and fans erupted in joy as West Coast Eagles won the game by five points in an epic grand final.
Fans jumped, cheered and cried with joy as the Eagles took the flag, making them the 2018 premiers.
It was the Eagles’ first flag since 2006.
