Fans out in force as mighty Ea­gles beat the Pies

There was face paint, blue and yel­low bal­loons and crowds dressed in their colours out and about for the 2018 AFL Grand Fi­nal on Sat­ur­day.

West Coast Ea­gles took on Colling­wood at the MCG in Mel­bourne and footy fans cheered on their teams in pubs across town.

Pubs in­clud­ing Hy­bla, White Star, Six De­grees and Due South were decked out with blue and yel­low, creat­ing the at­mos­phere for the fi­nal, and fans erupted in joy as West Coast Ea­gles won the game by five points in an epic grand fi­nal.

Fans jumped, cheered and cried with joy as the Ea­gles took the flag, mak­ing them the 2018 pre­miers.

It was the Ea­gles’ first flag since 2006.
