Albany Extra - - News - Jessica Cuthbert

If your name is Glenda and you are looking for a fun night out, free your calendar for tomorrow night.

The annual Glenda Gaggle is back and offers a fun night out for a catch-up with a bunch of Glendas.

The gaggle was started by a few local women in 2007. The first get-together had seven Glendas and now in its 11th year, the gaggle attracts up to 30 women from all walks of life.

Albany’s Glenda Gaspari said the gaggle had grown every year.

“Each year, it gets bigger and better; it’s amazing,” she said.

“Some years, some locals are away but we still have Glendas that travel kilometres to get here.

“The local girls who started the gaggle never thought it would become this big.

“We never know how many to expect — it could be 20, it could be 50 that rock up on the night, but everyone looks forward to it.”

The Glenda Gaggle will meet Dylan’s on the Terrace Restaurant tomorrow from 6pm.
