Man air­lifted af­ter crash

A Great South­ern man was air­lifted to Perth af­ter a se­ri­ous crash on Al­bany High­way near Cran­brook on Tues­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said the man’s ve­hi­cle rolled be­fore hit­ting a tree near Paul Valley Road about 1.30pm.

The RAC res­cue chop­per flew the 60-year-old to Perth for med­i­cal treat­ment. Po­lice en­cour­aged mo­torists to stop driv­ing if feel­ing ill or tired.
