Spring market day
In celebration of what is a blooming joyous time of year, the first Youngs Siding Spring Market day will bring the community together this Sunday.
Situated between Albany and Denmark, the Youngs Siding Hall is anticipated to get people from all over the region up and about and enjoying the season.
Organiser Heather Marr said they want to see people enjoying themselves and using the hall facilities.
“We want to raise money to help the hall and the Youngs Siding Community Association,” she said.
“Over the past few years, we have been trying to encourage more people to use what is a really attractive community asset.
“We hope they’ll find a unique bargain or special purchase or something really useful.”
Stalls will be selling unique handmade goods, horse equipment, books, plants, bush remedies, wooden goods and machinery.
The family-friendly day will also offer pony rides and the local Youngs Siding Swamp Rats cricket team will be running a sausage sizzle.
Those interested in hosting a stall can contact Ms Marr on 9845 1556 to book a space.
The markets take place this Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
Malcolm Traill and Eve Brink will be at the Young's Siding stalls this Sunday.
