BP, GS Fuels renew ties to truck on
Lake Grace’s Great Southern Fuels and BP Australia announced a five-year extension to their partnership last week.
“(We) have been working together to service regional WA for over 33 years, with the partnership directly supporting communities through local investment and job creation,” the two companies said in a joint statement.
Visiting WA, BP Australia president Andy Holmes met with Allan McWhirter, Great Southern Fuels managing director, in recognition of the milestone.
“We are extremely pleased to continue to work together with Great Southern Fuels on this important partnership, and are excited by the legacy it will have for the region for many years to come,” Mr Holmes said.
Mr McWhirter welcomed the partnership extension.
“BP has been an integral part of the GSF growth strategy for several years now and with the renewed commitment of both parties, we look forward to continuing to build on our strong relationship with our customers in both regional and metropolitan Western Australia,” Mr McWhirter said.
GSF will continue to operate BP’s regional depot business in the Wheatbelt.
