Big savings and snow play at Thredbo this year

Alpine News - - Resorts -

A NEW dedicated snow play area has opened up at Thredbo this year and new snow guns in the area will ensure that there is always a fresh supply of the white stuff when snowmaking is possible.

The new snow play park, located in the base station area of the village is where visitors can now slide on a toboggan, ride a snow tube, build a snowman, make a snow angel and just generally play in the snow.

Thredbo has also teamed up with the best of North America in a partnership that will offer unprecedented benefits for Thredbo season pass holders.

Thredbo has become the exclusive Australian resort partner of “The Mountain Collective” (TMC) which will result in Thredbo season pass holders receiving 50 per cent off TMC resort lift passes.

These resorts give members access to more than 30,000 acres of terrain, 186 lifts and an unmatched reputation for snow quality and quantity and full details about the partnership can be obtained via the following link, thredbo.com.au/ mountain collective.

Another area of big savings at Thredbo this year is the age limit on “kids”, with the age extended from 14 to 17 years.

This is a big coup for families with teenagers up to 17 years now classed as children for lift passes.
