Region’s best on show at market
BY TATE SPITERI
ANOTHER hugely successful year for the Myrtleford Farmers Market will end in a big way with a massive Twilight Market planned for this Friday December 21 from 5pm to 8pm.
The market will have a mocktails and mojitos theme, live music from Tracy Hamilton and a special visit from Santa.
Local produce including fruit, berries, nuts, eggs and Christmas condiments will all be available as will picnic platters, smoked trout, cheese, BBQ meats and salads, Kimchi Toasties, Italian donuts, Vietnamese, pies, biscuits, slices and much more.
Over 30 local businesses will be setting up for the three hour market extravaganza.
Chairs on the evening will be limited, so locals are encouraged to bring along their picnic rugs and enjoy the beginning of the festive holidays.
TAFCO Rural Supplies are partnered by the Alpine Shire, Myrtleford Chamber of Commerce and Bendigo Bank for the production of the Farmers Market.
This year’s Santa has been kindly sponsored by the Lions Club of Myrtleford.
