ONE hundred people attended the official unveiling of Whorouly Primary School’s “Buy a Brick” commemorative Fundraising Project last Wednesday.

Exactly 188 engraved bricks were sold which equates to a massive 50 per cent of Whorouly’s population of 376.

Past and present students supported the initiative with all proceeds going back into the school to be used for student equipment. McPhersons Earthmoving, Mac McPherson and Mawson’s each donated their time, product and machinery for the initative.

The unveiling was followed by a celebration with drinks and dinner at the Primary School.
