Rose Gar­den Café open­ing longer for sum­mer sea­son

THE Mt Beauty Neigh­bour­hood Cen­tre Rose Gar­den Café will be ex­tend­ing its open­ing hours dur­ing the hol­i­day pe­riod.

Neigh­bour­hood Cen­tre Man­ager Tr­ish Dixon said that the café had been such a hit that they felt it was worth of­fer­ing the ex­tended hours to cater for the bumper amount of vis­i­tors in town.

“It seems a bit of a crazy thing, but we will be open be­tween 10am and 2pm seven days a week, and of­fer­ing some fun ac­tiv­i­ties as well,” she said.

“We are call­ing it our Sum­mer Fes­ti­val 2019 @ The Neigh­bour­hood Cen­tre.

“We have a tem­po­rary al­co­hol li­cence so our cus­tom- ers can have a glass of wine as they eat on the deck over­look­ing the wa­ter.”

Sum­mer ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude art work­shops and ex­er­cise groups for chil­dren and adults, school hol­i­day ac­tiv­i­ties for the kids and a free movie night on Fri­day Jan­uary 11 at 8.45pm.
