COMPANIES WILL HAVE JUST ONE HOUR TO REMOVE OFFENDING ITEMS.

APC Australia - - Tech Notes -

Although Google, Twitter and Facebook have allegedly been trying to curb the spread of radical sentiments on their social platforms, the European Union isn’t satisfied. The EU is proposing a new law that will force all technology companies — large or small — to identify and delete terror propaganda, with failure to comply leading to hefty fines. Companies will have an hour to remove offensive content, with the new law essentially making them more responsible for the material on their sites. SS
