Chinese firms indicted by the US for corporate espionage

Two companies based in China and Taiwan, along with three individual­s, have been indicted by the US Justice Department for conspiring to steal trade secrets from American semiconduc­tor company Micron Technology. While the Trump administra­tion tries to crack down on alleged Chinese espionage, China is asking for evidence. “If the United States truly has genuine concerns, it should provide real examples to test these remarks that can stand up under evidence and facts,” a spokespers­on for China’s Foreign Ministry declared.
