At-work porn habit puts malware on US Government network
Extensive NSFW browser history responsible for secure network breach.
One US Government official’s at-work porn habit is believed to be responsible for malware found on a secured government network. An audit of the US Geological Survey network at a South Dakota satellite imaging facility, found that somewhere amongst the thousands of porn pages visited by an unnamed employee, malware had managed to download itself onto a work laptop, before migrating to the network. A number of the images were downloaded to the government-issued computer before being saved on an unauthorised USB and a personal Android device – both of which are believed to also be infected with the malware.
