After the phenomenal rise of Bitcoin in 2017, where it almost soared to the dizzying heights of a US$20,000 valuation, the cryptocurrency has taken a turn for the worse in 2018. Ever since the December, 2017 peak, Bitcoin has been steadily dropping and, in two weeks of November, lost 40% of its total value, hitting a low of US$3,520.
