Sur­vey says Aussies are hold­ing on to their phones longer

The 2018 Deloitte Mo­bile Con­sumer Sur­vey has re­vealed that al­most a quar­ter of Aus­tralians are watch­ing more video con­tent on their phones, es­pe­cially live TV. The sur­vey also re­vealed that 39% of Aussies think they use their phones too much, while 26% feel they’re able to limit their de­pen­dence on their de­vices. How­ever, 34% say they’re try­ing to use their smart­phones less but aren’t suc­ceed­ing. The num­ber of peo­ple with new phones (hand­sets that are less than 18 months old) has also dropped to 58%, down from 61% in 2016.
