Survey says Aussies are holding on to their phones longer
AND USING MORE DATA THAN EVER BEFORE.
The 2018 Deloitte Mobile Consumer Survey has revealed that almost a quarter of Australians are watching more video content on their phones, especially live TV. The survey also revealed that 39% of Aussies think they use their phones too much, while 26% feel they’re able to limit their dependence on their devices. However, 34% say they’re trying to use their smartphones less but aren’t succeeding. The number of people with new phones (handsets that are less than 18 months old) has also dropped to 58%, down from 61% in 2016.
