There’s been a lot of development in the true wireless earbud space this year with considerable advancements in both noise cancelling and Bluetooth 5, but Sony’s swimproof WF-SP900s are, by far, the most unique true-wireless buds we’ve seen. Sony has sealed these buds in an IP68 rated enclosure that has been tested in salt and fresh water at a depth of two meters for 30 minutes in order to let you swim in them. Bluetooth is notoriously bad at transmitting through a water barrier so Sony has built-in 4GB of storage to play your favourite playlist directly from the headphones. These perks aren’t cheap, but for anyone needing a pair of headphones for laps these will be hard to beat.
