Ultra HD – also known as 4K – displays aren’t just for gamers, media enthusiasts or graphics professionals. The ability to have three or four non-overlapping windows on-screen at once is beneficial even if you’re just surfing the web or editing documents. And with prices now around $400 for entry level models, there’s never been a better time to upgrade your monitor to 4K.
Viewing such a high resolution particularly on smaller (24 or 27inch) monitors – can result in tiny text and icons, making things difficult to read. Thankfully, both Windows and your monitor manufacturer (we’ve used LG in this tutorial as an example) provide tools to help alleviate these issues, which is where we come in.
