Chip-maker TSMC’s prosperous 2019

THE CHIP FOUNDRY IS NOW ASIA’S MOST VALUABLE COMPANY.

TSMC has became the most valuable company in Asia, with an 8.02 trillion New Taiwan Dollar ($385 billion) market cap. The company counts many leading tech companies as its customers – the likes of AMD, Nvidia and Apple all source at least some of their chips from TSMC – and demand for its semiconductors has been high, which is especially true of its 7nm chips.
