Coming in a fraction cheaper than the Aftershock system this month, this rig delivers similar performance but via a different approach. With the graphics cards being the same, this system certainly has the same gaming chops, but with an AMD 3700X installed it won’t be quite as effective at extracting every FPS at the high end at 1080p. If you want to game at 1440p or higher though this CPU won’t hold you back at all. And with double the thread count on offer, you might even prefer this system for other productivity work you do when not gaming. Oddly the overclocking and cooling situation is reversed here. This system can be overclocked, but it’s stuck with the stock HSF.
