Riot Games set to challenge Counter-Strike and Overwatch

Riot Games unveiled Valorant last month, a brand new free-to-play first-person shooter with a focus on high speed tactical play. The game, which looks like a blend of Overwatch’s character-based gameplay and Counter-Strike’s more sober, tactical approach, is expected to release this winter, with Riot paying special attention to netcode, fairness, and accessibility.
