Cyberpunk2077 skips September, will ship in November instead
CD Projekt Red still has some work to do.
The most anticipated game of the year is still a while off, with Cyberpunk 2077 releasing on November 19 instead of its previous September date. The game was originally scheduled to launch in May, but The Witcher
studio CD Projekt RED seems determined to ship a game that will prove just as awe-striking as its last.
“The quests, the cutscenes, the skill and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer – it’s all there,” the studio wrote. “But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs. A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that.”
