Kobo Nia

Nia enough is good enough for us.

-

If you’re looking for an entry level e-reader to get you started on your digital library, Kobo’s Nia is a worthy competitor to the entry level Kindle. For starters the Nia has a 212ppi 6-inch display, which is 21 percent sharper than what you get on the basic Kindle, but you’ll also get access to the Kobo library of eBooks, which is as extensive and – sometimes – better priced than Amazon’s library. The Nia comes with 8GB of onboard storage, which allows you to store something like 6,000 books, and while it can’t adjust the warmth of the screen, it does at least offer a backlight for reading in dark environments.
