Stepping up in price from the Scorptec Lucent system, this has a not insignificant $450 price premium on it. This does not get you any improvement in graphics performance, but does get you a much better gaming CPU that clocks over 5GHz which games love, especially for 1080P and 1440P 144Hz+ gaming. The CPU is also superb at productivity and will typically best any AMD 8-core CPU in thread-heavy applications thanks to the matching thread count with higher clock speeds. The included water-cooling allows for good overclocking headroom.
