While 49-inches isn’t all that big for TVs these days, it’s immense for a monitor. The ultra-wide dual quad-HD display has a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels (essentially two QHD monitors side by side) and it’ll wrap you at a tight 1000R curvature so that each part of the display is the same distance around you. The G9 gets one of Samsung’s QLED panels which has a typical brightness of 1000nits (double the brightness of most gaming monitors) and comes with decent HDR capabilities since it hits 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It even utilises a 240Hz refresh rate with and has a GTG response time of less than 1ms.
