Xiaomi Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition

The first mass-market seethrough OLED TV.

Chinese tech manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled one of the first fully transparent TV sized displays as part of its 10th Anniversary event. The display hides most of the processing components in the base and uses transparent OLED pixels to display images so that you can see through the panel when they’re not engaged. While we couldn’t find any brightness specs (which will be the key factor in how amazing this is in person), it does offer 10-bit colour processing and an 120Hz refresh rate, so it’s not shabby on other TV tech.
