HOW TO: Use tags to keep things organised

01 CREATE A TAG

Find a highlight in Your Daily Review or Your Feed, then tap it to open it up. Tap the tag button and start typing a tag name. When you are finished, tap ‘Create [tag name]’. This will apply the tag to this particular highlight.

02 FIND USING TAGS

Tap Browse at the bottom of the screen, then tap ‘Your tags’. This will list all the tags you have created; tap one to reveal Edit and Delete options, then tap its name to see all the entries that you have organised with that tag.

03 MERGE PASSAGES

In your ebook reader, add a note titled ‘.c1’ on one sentence, then one named ‘.c2’ on another, then sync your ebook to the Readwise app. The two sentences will be merged into a single highlight for easier viewing.
