Enhance images in Luminar 4
If you’re not sure where to start with image enhancement or just want a helping hand, Luminar’s AI-powered tools can analyse your image and get you started. The software also features ‘looks’ which are presets that change multiple aspects of an image from colours, exposure and brightness to sharpness and vignetting. Although other photo apps let you tweak pictures, Luminar is particularly user-friendly and powerful. And if you’re a beginner or just in a hurry, its AI features are a great helping hand.
Looks work by automatically dialling in a bunch of adjustments and there’s an amount slider so you can choose how strongly the look is applied. In the Essentials edit tab you’ll find more quick enhancement tools including Colour, Details and Light all with variable sliders, so you can quickly and easily make your pictures look more vibrant, interesting and professional. It will help to start with a high resolution image, though JPEGs are fine. If you do have the option of working on a RAW file, that will give Luminar the maximum amount of info to work with.
