Essentially Sennheiser Momentums in a slightly less premium package, the CX400BT are fantastic for anyone looking for all-day, all-rounder earbuds at a fraction of the price of their bigger sibling. The twist fit buds sit snug in the ear – passive isolation is great and, even better news for commuters, the CX400BT leak very little noise even at higher volumes. The tiny 7mm drivers are impressive and more than capable of delivering beautiful sound across a wide stage. The trebles can be a touch over enthusiatic at times, but definitely not enough to ruin your day and can always be tweaked to suit with the fantastic equaliser in the Smart Control app.
