John Wardle Architects team 2020

This practice, with such a singular name, has for almost its entire history been a vehicle for the energies, endeavours and skills of many.

I must thank first the many team members, past and present, who have invested so much of their working lives in the creation of the built work that has been acknowledged with the awarding of this medal. Along the way, so many people have encouraged us, championed our causes, built as we’ve asked and entrusted us with their commission. In doing so, they have generously supported the construction of the project of which I am most proud: this fine Australian practice.
