Ann Green­wood is a Gipp­s­land-based tex­tile artist whose cre­ative prac­tice spans five decades. She is renowned for her mon­u­men­tal weav­ings and ex­quis­ite em­broi­deries rich in colour, tex­ture and mean­ing. For her lat­est ex­hi­bi­tion ‘The Pea­cock Gar­den’, Green­wood draws from three bod­ies of work to present a cel­e­bra­tion of life in its ma­te­rial and sym­bolic in­car­na­tions, which she says ‘evokes ideas of con­nect­ing, bind­ing, and con­ti­nu­ity.’

The ex­hi­bi­tion opens up a space for spir­i­tual ex­plo­ration of the see­ing, dream­ing, and imag­i­na­tive self. The Pea­cock Gar­den,
