Academy of Global Competency by Tom Mark Henry

Designed and constructed by The Rohrig Group in collaboration with Tom Mark Henry, the Knox Grammar School Academy of Global Competency is a multifaceted space for years 9 and 10 students of the school, located in Sydney’s Upper North Shore. Flexibility and innovation are front and centre, giving students freedom to use the space as they see fit. The design, which is highly flexible and easily adaptable in order to future-proof against changing student and teacher needs, encourages a strong student-led focus. The space addresses the functional requirements of self-directed study and provides opportunities for social and digital interactions, allowing students to engage as responsible global citizens.
