Felix by Flux Studio
Tucked down a back street, Felix aims to bring the romance of Melbourne’s laneway culture to Geelong’s central business district. The original timber trusses, arched windows and pitched ceiling of the once mechanics shoplent themselves to creating a livedin and established space. Felix takes a pared-back design approach with a focus on materiality and craftsmanship.
Limewashed walls and walnut timber joinery create a sense of warmth within the space, while aged brass accents add an additional layer of depth and patina. Pendant lights adorned with dried floral installations provide a sensory experience and add an element of whimsical charm. Photography — Jenah Piwanski Flux Interior Design — fluxinteriordesign.com
