Who is Jane Goodall?
Born in 1934, Dame Jane Goodall is a British primatologist and UN Messenger of Peace, best known for her life-long study of chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania in the early 60s. In 1977 she established the Jane Goodall Institute, working extensively on conservation and animal welfare issues.
